The room was simple and nice. But, I'd recommend 2nd or 3rd floor. I was on 1st and people knocked on the door sometimes as they passed by. Also, I had no view. There are at least 2 buildings. One faced in The direction of the Ocean but I don't know if they had a view. The building I was in faced the pool instead. If I was going to be in that building again, I'd request a second or third floor room at the end of the building so I would be near the ocean. Easy walk down a set of stairs to Pismo beach. Oh, and had great breakfast, also within walking distance at Penny's. 😋

We grabbed a room at the last minute, and we were very pleased with our accommodations. Good location, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly! The continental breakfast options were good! It was really close to the beach! We took the stairs down to the sand and walked around. We would stay here again.

My wife and I have been going to Pismo Beach for over 34 years and we have stayed at a number of hotels and motels in the area. We have been staying at the Edgewater Inn now for over 25 years and we won't stay anywhere else. Robert and the staff are great always pleasant and on the ready for you at all times. The rooms are clean the linens are fresh. The team that cleans the rooms are friendly and ready to give you what you need (extra towel, soap, toilet paper, ETC) and with a smile and great attitude as well. The location is AWESOME, across the parking lot down the stairs and on the sand you can't beat it. You don't have to hunt for parking downtown because Edgewater is walking distance from downtown restaurants and shops. We will continue to stay with the kind and friendly people at the Edgewater Inn whenever we go to Pismo and we always recommend the Edgewater to anyone who asks us where they should stay.

We stayed in the standard suite and it was really nice. It had all the amenities we needed. The bedroom was spacious. The location of this hotel is great. My only complaint was our view out the window was awful but thats not something that important to me. Thats why i left it off of the rating. Would definitely stay there again. Very friendly staff, and they have a small breakfast bar in the morning. Insanely short walk to the beach and not far from the pier

we were there over the weekend for our 15th years wedding anniversary, we had a great time. walking distance to our fave beach/pier. we enjoyed the sunset esp. the kids just wading on the water, safe place to stay too, staffs were great. we're coming back for sure. thank you!
