Very welcoming and friendly staff. Office smells of saffron and lemon grass (YUM!!!). The room itself was decadent at the price. The view is world class. Walking distance from some of the finest restaurants on earth. I could see the beauty of the divine in these accommodations. Blessings on you and your family. Thank you.

Welp. The location of the hotel is great. But the hotel itself is terrible. There’s tears in the drywall texture. The beds are hard as a rock. And not to mention. The room me and my family stayed in had blood spots on the sheets. This is one of the nastiest things I’ve ever seen

Would be a great place to stay at if it weren't for the lady who I believe is the manager and the dirty rooms. Made reservation to stay Sunday to Wednesday labor day weekend. Lady called Sunday morning stating our room is ready whenever we check in as they aren't busy so. Great I thought. We arrived that evening and we were welcomed with two huge cockroaches in the bathroom and a very dirty floor (dog hair all over the place or someone with gray short hair). So I took a towel, wet it and mopped the floor myself. Next day I took the towels and asked for clean ones as well as showed them the dead cockroach I had in a baby wipe on washcloth. Lady could have cared less as if it was no big deal I had cockroaches in the bathroom and who knows where else they were hiding out. Then I mentioned about the lack of cleanliness of room and how I cleaned the floor for them which is why I was asking for new clean towels. She proceeded to tell me "remember its labor day weekend so my maids are really busy and probably rushed through the cleaning to finish everything up". I reminded her how when she called me she told me how they were not busy yesterday (Sunday) and my room was already ready so that is no excuse for maids not cleaning a room. She just shrugged me off and didn't say anything else and went back to working. Well, we decided to just pack up and leave as why would I want to support a business that doesn't see the importance of cleanliness especially in a disabled access room where many people that are disabled have health problems and or are allergic to pet hair and could care less about bugs crawling around their rooms. Lady didn't care and of course didn't refund us even though I was within cancellation policy outlined on my reservation. I filed with my bank and reporting to BBB. Sheets were stained or at least I hope they were stained and not dirty which she didn't comment on either. We travel A LOT and stay about 15-20 nights a year in MB trying different hotels. This was the worse out of all the ones we have stayed in, in MB. Most managers of hotels and staff care about their guests comfort and such. Even when we tried Motel 6 several years ago, it was so much better than here. Sad as this could be a great place to stay due to location and exterior access with plenty of parking. Oh the TV only had a few working channels, most weren't in-service and only had audio. You might want to think twice before staying here. Lots of great other places to stay at in MB.

We've been staying here for years. We adore the owners, they are so kind and helpful! It's dog friendly which is great for bringing my well behaved and quiet dog.

Our arrival looked to be around 1:30 A.M. We had called ahead about 10 p.m. to speak to someone about a late check-in and spoke to the owner. We did an online reservation and arrived around 2 a.m. due to a detour caused by the road closure construction on highway 41. We called and the owner allowed us in to do paperwork and secure our keys. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Coffee, fridge, microwave, and an extremely comfortable bed with a working ceiling fan above. We slept soundly and awoke refreshed and ready to seize the day. The stay was very quiet. Of course as expected, the rooms are priced seasonally, but Rockview was a most affordable room and the ONLY place that agreed to allow us a late check-in. Even the more pricey and affluent hotels wouldn't agree to a check-in after 10pm. I will most assuredly book a room here in my future stays in Morro Bay.
