Excellent value, extremely clean, recently renovated, new comfy beds, very quiet rooms, efficient staff. One of the better motels I’ve stayed at. Would stay here again for sure.

The front desk Sunny made us feel welcomed. He went out his way during late check-in to help us. He and the housekeeper are great hospitality professionals. The location was perfect, convenient and accessible to both Monterey and Carmel within minutes. The price reflects that this is not anything fancy, but the place is neat, from the parking lot to the room, worth every penny. I can say many more great things, but it's always the people that are the most important. In this case, Sunny is whom we will remember.

Great location good customer service great price. The cons are the bed is horrible it sinks in. The toilet was loose so the whole thing wobbled. The shower head pressure was not the best. The towels were very cheap so was the soap. For me I got the room at an ok price and really only used it to sleep. If these things are important to you I'd spend a little more and get something better.

I went to Monterey to visit the aquarium and also to enjoy a mini getaway from my day to day ( Absolutely Loved it!). My spouse and I decided This place looked nice and cozy. We made the reservation online and without any hassle walked into the office, confirmed our reservation, and got the key to our room. The man at the front desk was very kind. When we got into our room, you could tell it was recently renovated. We loved the vibe throughout the place. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave. The location was perfect. If you want to enjoy a walk, you can! You're near many restaurants and coffee shops. We stayed here for the rest of our visit and it was so pleasant ☺️ The people that run this place are also very kind people and I enjoyed the "NO smoking policy". Oh, and they also have cute little tables outside perfect if you just want to enjoy the night or the morning with some coffee.

Firstly, they are disorganized. They lost our reservation that we made through their own website and blamed it on the website. If their website doesn’t work and this is a repetitive issue why hasn’t it been fixed? Secondly the room that we received was not adequate, it was not properly cleaned and we found a hair in the comforter and in the shower. Lastly the water itself had an abnormal smell, almost like recycled porta-potty water. I know they say “you get what you pay for” but I feel the price was a little much for the quality received as well as the up-charge for losing our initial reservation. Hopefully this isn’t an issue that all guests have come across, but it is an experience that has made me weary of booking hotels in the future. Would not book again.
