Located in a safe and convenient location a highly recommended spot for those looking to visit Montecito area of Santa Barbara. The staff were all warm and welcoming and you are walking distance to Good eating and drinking and walking distance from the ocean. My rating for the rooms is related to my queen sized room not having ample work station space. Otherwise, the room was clean, cozy, safe and quiet. Coffee, tea and juice along with breakfast pastries are provided just off the main lobby in the morning. The bar is a great space for a quiet drink alone or with friends. Added bonus isb5he ability to have your electric car charged onsite.

The walls are paper thin - it basically sounds like the windows or doors are open you can hear so much traffic. The rooms are pretty outdated and small, the staff doesn’t seem to care much about the guests. Location wise it’s very convenient - but you should probably know what you’re getting into

We stayed at the Montecito Inn for two nights. The location is excellent — it's within walking distance to everything in Montecito — and the hotel itself has been recently updated, with clean and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by poor customer service. We were incorrectly charged for a robe we never used during our stay. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue via email and phone, I received no response from Paola or the Montecito Inn team. This lack of accountability and communication was deeply disappointing and does not reflect the level of service we expected. For this reason, we would not recommend staying here.

We are staying here now and the hotel is very disappointing. The rooms are extremely small and in dire need of remodeling. A few of the outlets do not work and all of the windows don’t close properly so are drafty and loud. Also, many of the wood windows frames are rotting and smell of mold. Additionally, the service is poor, I called the front desk and asked “how many treadmills are in the gym” and they called back and said “I am not sure”. I also requested an additional charging cube and they said they would look for one but never got back to me. I would not recommend!

We were in town for a wedding. The service was excellent, the location is great, the all day Coffee & Tea bar was so nice and in the morning with pastries and fruit. However, the rooms are old and dated. Our room had a terrible Mold & Mildew smell, it was awful. The bathrooms are clean, but very very small. They were having a water issue, and the bath/ shower did not have good water pressure. Expensive, even with the Wedding group rate. Montecito is a cute walking town with lots of shops and restaurants.
