Attending a tea ceremony at Dryshtea House was truly a profound experience. Our host, Flowing River, carried out the ceremony with such warmth and intention, creating an atmosphere that felt both sacred and deeply inviting. The practice of being fully present with the tea—feeling its warmth, tasting its subtle nuances, and breathing in its earthy aroma—became a powerful meditation in itself. Surrounded by the lush, tranquil beauty of the property, I felt as if I had stepped into a timeless place, one where the rushing pace of the outside world faded away. This ceremony was more than just drinking tea—it was a journey inward. The stillness of the space, the ritual of pouring and receiving, and the connection to the elements allowed me to tap into my own intuition while also feeling deeply connected to everything around me. It was a reminder of how simple moments, when held with presence, can become portals to something much greater. I would absolutely recommend visiting Dryshtea House for a tea ceremony. Whether you're looking for a moment of reflection, connection, or simply a beautiful and unique experience, this is a place where tea becomes a teacher, and presence becomes a gift.

What a beautiful, mystical, transformative tea ceremony experience with *Dryshtea* at their magical tea house nestled in the lush, tropical landscape of Montecito. We were taken deep into meditative presence with River’s mindful facilitation & the Pu-erh tea was exquisitely smooth and grounding, even for my uber caffeine sensitive constitution. Looking forward to my next visit! ✨🙏✨

It was such a lovely Sunday morning experiencing Bowl Tea Ceremony with River at Dryshtea. The tea space was intimate and canopied under trees and sounds of nature. I received profound insights and clarity from some personal things I’ve been navigating. We also were given some tea snacks after which was a nice surprise. The property is beautiful and was happy to learn there are tea trees planted on the property. I look forward to attending another tea ceremony and event at Dryshtea in Montecito. Thank you!

My mom and I visited Dryshtea for Mother’s Day, and it was truly an amazing experience. Before my visit, I hadn’t experienced a tea ceremony. This was unique because I came in without expectations or anything to compare the experience to. The ceremony was a silent tea practice, which was great for quieting my mind. The tea was used to help ground us in the meditation. It’s a fantastic way to reset when life feels a bit chaotic. My only complaint was there were only two spots with back support and we were sitting on the floor, which doesn’t feel inclusive for everyone. Otherwise, I would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in town!
