Well maintained, family friendly and safe- a great place for fun. A landmark for almost a century this venue offers fun for the whole family. It is operated very well, including maintenance, security, staff training, variety of rides and activities and food offerings. It offers discount evenings, passes and group purchase options which can help reduce the cost of a visit. While not cheap, it offers so much more than a visiting carnival. The location is beautiful and on an iconic beach. I am very impressed by the training that seems to go into staffing, the uniforms and visible security. I highly recommend visiting this coastal gem.

I recently visited the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with my wife and cousins. We had a fantastic time exploring the area. I we stopped by several tourist shops filled with shirts and souvenirs, and my cousins picked up a Santa Cruz-themed shirt as a keepsake. During our visit, we grabbed some candy, ginger beer, and coffee before heading to the wharf. There, we saw sea lions lounging on the wooden docks, making plenty of noise. They had a distinct smell, but it was still fascinating to watch them up close. It’s unfortunate that the wharf was damaged by the recent storm surge, but it remains a great place to visit. We also spent time at the arcade, where we played Mario Kart and a fun racing game that involved rolling a ball into a hole to compete against friends. While the prices were on the higher side, it’s understandable given the rising costs of entertainment. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I will definitely be returning to the boardwalk in the future!

The boardwalk is nice, just about what you expect for any beach boardwalk. There’s an arcade, rides, games to win prizes, there’s fair food. We purchased an arcade card and loaded it at the machine. Most rides were $8 each person. We tried the haunted house ride, it was fun and probably scary for a kid but not scary for an adult. We also sat on the ride that brings you through the boardwalk one way, that was nice. We had money left on our card and decided to spend the rest at the arcade casino and to our surprise most games there are $1 each.

We went there on Sunday morning and waited until 11 AM to join the rides. It was both fun and relaxing. The rides are limited on weekends, so it's a good idea to check the map in advance for convenience. I highly recommend trying the Giant Dipper.

Good weekend fun. A decent beach where you can chill out with friends and family. Amusement park, where you have some good rides. I would rate the difficult level of these rides as medium. And many games to play to entertain yourselves along with kids. Parking could be challenging at times. There are plenty of street parking, which gets full very quick. Plenty paid parking options available as well for ~25$.
