Our location simply couldn’t be better for walking into Greenwich, or taking a short train journey from nearby Blackheath station into central London (London Bridge to Blackheath is just a 12 minute journey). Or you can stroll around Blackheath Village with its wealth of independent shops, bars and eateries, relax in our gardens or take afternoon tea in our restaurant to unwind.

Friendly and efficient service. Rooms are not huge but plenty of space and clean and comfortable; bathroom was very clean (recently renovated?). The rooms facing over the commons get a little bit of noise from the road, but also have a great view of the sunset. Breakfast was excellent, better than the allegedly "four-star" place I was at last week.

We had a decently sized room that had classy yet contemporary furnishings. Amenities included a fan and a fridge, no safe nor religious literature. The bed was comfy and plenty of pillows were supplied. The room was very clean, housekeeping made sure that it stayed clean and in tip top shape. Only drawbacks regarding the room was the fact that it was quite hot upon arrival and even with all windows open it didn't cool down very quickly and the lack of water pressure from the shower. The staff was very friendly and always happy to be of assistance. We had breakfast included in our stay. The buffet was plenty varied and always well stocked. The only drawback were the breakfast hours, commencing at 6:45 and ending somewhat early at 9:30 allowing little time for sleeping in. Location of the hotel left nothing to complain about either, situated close to Greenwich park and Blackheath train station, allowing travel to central London within 30 minutes. Side note: this hotel is LGBT friendly. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely pick the Clarendon again!

Stayed at this hotel for a family meal and celebration. Everything was fantastic. Dinner and service amazing. Great cocktails. Professional, friendly and attentive staff. Room was 10/10 Lovely breakfast in a calm restful environment. Excellent location. Parking to the rear, was no problem for us. Would def recommend and visit again.

Very good hotel for the price. Large, decent quality room and superb service and restaurant. Also a really lovely, professionally appointed garden which is a rarity in London!

Wonderful hotel, extremely lovely staff who helped me with my requests and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend it as a base for exploring London. It's right on the Heath, with wonderful restaurants nearby, Greenwich and all it's delights are just a short walk away. I'll certainly stay here the next time I'm in London.
