We recently hosted our corporate reception at Mar Monte Hotel – The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. From the stunning oceanfront views and timeless Spanish architecture to the flawless service, everything was top-notch. But what truly made the event exceptional was the incredible support and attention to detail provided by Eryn, the Food and Beverage Manager. From the very first planning conversation to the final toast of the evening, Eryn was an absolute superstar. She made sure every aspect of our event was thoughtfully executed — from the deliciously curated menu and drink selections to the perfectly timed service throughout the evening. Her professionalism, warmth, and eye for detail helped turn our reception into a seamless and memorable experience. Our guests are still raving about the food — fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented — and the overall ambiance of the venue was unmatched. The Mar Monte team made us feel like VIPs, and Eryn was the heartbeat of it all. She anticipated needs before they arose, handled last-minute requests with grace, and made sure everyone was taken care of with genuine hospitality. Lovely weekend at the marmonte. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and had a third floor room with a beach facing balcony. Coffee on the balcony each morning was so pleasant, and the Sea Air coming into the room at night was great. The room sported a very big TV and feather pillows with a handsomely tiled bathroom. Cocktails at Lido were tasty and you can be at the beach in seconds. We shall return.

Front desk personnel at Mar Monte were very friendly and accommodating. Costa restaurant was very nice, romantic decor, very inviting. Great views to ocean can hear waves. Live music the performer had a nice voice and good songs. Service was amazing including waitress and box boys. This restaurant welcomes everyone and is not just for hotel guests. Ryan at Lido cafe was exceptional and I really enjoyed the chorizo breakfast tacos.

My wife and I came here for a getaway weekend. We had a bunch of annoying issues. 1. We were promised an early check in .. but only got in at 4 pm. Not a big deal. I can live with this one. 2. Tub was dirty - couldn't use it on the first and second day (Service did not get done in time). Bulb on my night stand lamp did not work (was subsequently fixed - but points to the level of attention which is being given to the rooms). 3. On one of the days the service did not get done at the time promised. In fact, we were told the room is done and when we came upstairs, the housekeeping staff was just starting. We couldn't rest, nor use the tub. 4. On the day service was done it was incomplete - no body lotion/no tea/not enough creamers 5. When we requested to supplement the above items, they came back with some other stuff (and not the items requested). 6. We had breakfast at Costa breakfast and it was cold and insipid. The front office manager was responsive and apologetic for the above issues and promised to make up for the above by depositing some bonus points in my Hyatt account. It has been several weeks and I have not seen anything. I am a Discoverist member at Hyatt and was totally unhappy with this property.

Merissa helped coordinate the details of our wedding with such thoughtfulness and precision. She listened carefully to our vision and went above and beyond to make it come to life, ensuring every detail was perfect. Her genuine care made us feel so supported during what could have been a stressful time. When we returned to celebrate our anniversary, she remembered us from our wedding stay and made sure our visit felt just as special. From a surprise welcome note and champagne to personalized touches in our room, she made us feel like VIPs. The level of care and attention she gave us was heartfelt and sincere. The Mar Monte Hotel itself is stunning, with gorgeous ocean views, cozy rooms, and a peaceful and swanky ambiance. But it’s people like Merissa and Camila who elevate the experience and make it truly exceptional. We’re so grateful to them both and can’t wait to return. Mar Monte will always hold a special place in our hearts.
