It was the first time for me and my family in patna, so was the stay at the legendary Hotel Maurya Patna Charming hospitality well executed by highly competitive staff at the property The breakfast spread was impressive with a lot of regional options. Our dining experience at spice court was impressive. They must keep up the good work always The only down side to the whole experience was their lobby. Rest excelled beyond expectation

Much appreciated the hospitality and the attitude of the employees and staff at the hotel. Thanks a lot for our wonderful stay. In particular, Ms Nisha at the front desk was a big help and support. The menu for the breakfast could be improved.

Absolute gorgeous hotel . No words to express gratitude for taking great care of us who had medical needs . The food and the extra care offered was much appreciated Thanks from the bottom of our heart for the entire team , especially the chefs who tailed almost all meals for my parents . The wedding halls and the food at the banquet was great as well I will choose to stay at hotel maurya patna if I ever visit the city again

We booked hotel maurya for my sister's wedding recently. Very well organised events. Everything is taken care of from decoration to the food. Very good team who.made.sure that the whole event went off well including the rooms where our guest was put up. Very good stead of food as well . Chears to all the team members for their sincere work ethics

I recently stayed at this property and it was a disappointing experience overall. We had booked 8 rooms for our group, and despite its reputation, the hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. The Problems: • Room Maintenance: The shower had serious drainage issues, making the bathroom inconvenient to use. The air conditioning didn’t work initially, which added to our discomfort. While it was eventually fixed, these are issues that should’ve been addressed before check-in. The rooms also lacked proper cleanliness, with dust clearly visible on tables and sidebars. • Staff Behavior: Although the reception and restaurant staff were professional and courteous, the behavior of the bellboys and support staff was disappointing. They kept asking for tips, which felt both unprofessional and uncomfortable, especially in a country like India where tipping isn’t as prevalent or expected in this manner. My Recommendations: If you’re planning to visit Patna, I would strongly recommend exploring other options. Spending ₹500–₹1,000 more for Taj Patna will guarantee a much better experience in terms of cleanliness, service, and comfort. Alternatively, if you’re on a budget you can get you reliable accommodations at an OYO property with similar standards. Final Thoughts: While the location of Hotel Maurya is convenient and some staff members were professional, the lack of room upkeep and inappropriate staff behavior were major letdowns. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes improvements. For now, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
