I had the family there for the week and every single staff person we met were absolutely incredible. I stay at a lot of hotels and hotel staff can be hit or miss but not this one. It was really amazing, every single member who interacted with us were absolutely bright, caring and extremely courteous. Those small interactions make the experiences. And I’m grateful to all the staff there. Thank you! We will be back

I used to live in downtown Vancouver and I would walk by this hotel ALL THE TIME. In my opinion, it is unassuming. I didn't have any expectations for my stay and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are so well taken care of :) The bathrooms are stocked with luxurious smelling toiletries (like the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion). I stayed here for a work event and I paid to upgrade my room to a higher floor. I was here from Monday to Friday. The guest service agent who checked me in was lovely and gave me a wonderful room. If I remember correctly I was on floor 26 in a corner room. The room was spacious, bright, beautiful view, private, quiet, and always clean. I typically do not let housekeepers in my room when I stay and this time I did and they were super lovely ~ so efficient and tidied up my room so nicely ~ they even folded some of the clothes I left on the floor. The food during our conference was great too. It was nutritious, whole foods. I especially loved the coconut milk chia seed pudding topped with fresh fruit! Staying here was a treat! I would happily stay here again :)

I had a great experience staying at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was ideal for me as it was central for everything I needed. My room was modern, comfortable, and offered a fantastic view of the city. I especially loved the courtyard at night with the decorative lights (and so did a few others as many of us had our cameras out!). I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Vancouver.

Absolutely pathetic excuse for guest service. Booked a room and thought I’d do the courteous thing and call ahead—big mistake. Some genius named Maggi answered the phone (clearly doing me a favour by even picking up), and I politely introduced myself as a Gold Elite member—yes, one of those guests that actually matter. But no, instead of even pretending to appreciate loyalty, I got the third degree like I was applying for national security clearance. They wanted my name (again), my check-in and check-out dates, credit card brand, and—wait for it—the last digit of the card. What’s next, my blood type? And after that charade? I was told that my upgrade, which by the way is a basic perk of my status, would be “subject to availability at check-in.” Wow. Revolutionary customer service there. Needless to say, I canceled on the spot. I’ve stayed at countless Marriott properties, and this one is a disgrace to the brand. Might want to invest in some actual hospitality training—assuming they can get past step one: picking up the phone without being obnoxious.

Relative to this category I give this hotel four stars. I would give it five stars except the gym equipment is woefully outdated. Some of the dumbbells are literally from the 20th century. As for the facility, it's a large site with two towers and it feels more like a little convention center than your typical Sheraton hotel. The rooms are what you would expect. The service is excellent and, along with the location, is the best thing about this hotel.
