We were shopping around the village came across this spot to eat. We arrived around 11:35 for brunch and got seated in around 10 mins (we were a bigger group). We sat down in front of another large group and they were very loud. The server came to grab our drinks and then it took them roughly 30 mins to take our order…. I think service can be improved, overall the food is good but service wasn’t the greatest. The waitress was very nice.

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants here in Big Bear Lake, especially if you are looking for some real down-to-earth home cooking. This restaurant has plenty of free parking right in front of the business. One key point to remember when visiting is that they only take cash, no credit cards accepted, but do not worry, they have an ATM located in the foyer of the business next to the restrooms. There is one large sitting area with tables or bar stools at the bar area, another smaller dining area towards the back and finally a small covered outdoor dining area. Our server was Rudy, and he was simply the best, friendly, helpful with great dinner selections and very polite. We had homemade chicken pot pie, pot roast with all the trimmings, house salad and a delicious tomato basil soup. The portion sizes were very large, and it was a little difficult to finish everything, so we did not, instead taking the rest of the food to go. Another must have, even if you must take it to go, is a slice of one of the many homemade pies, out of this world. This is one of our go-to restaurants anytime we are in town and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic home cooked meal.

Small, cozy, incredible food. Amazing diner experience. Juicy and tender steak. Best chicken pot pie around. Great service. Will be a staple to visit every time in Big Bear.

It’s a cute restaurant in the village ! It’s not far from the lake. I ordered Avocado and Bacon omelette with hash browns, it’s quite delicious! The staff is helpful and friendly! The atmosphere is cozy and chilling, perfect for getting some rest after some mountain activities! Oh but one thing you need to noted is that it’s “Cash only”! They do have an ATM outside the restaurant tho haha! I will definitely visit here again when I come to Big Bear Lake next time :)

The food was really good, the portions are good and shareable for families. We loved pastrami and eggs dish. There is a long wait so plan to be there early and before you're hungry! 😀
