It was crowded but it was fun to see everyone enjoying. We did the tubing and it was nice but not too high. The point is ,$60 is too much to ask per person hope they make it lower with the inflation going. All in all it was nice , restrooms are plenty and food is everywhere too. Staff who gave tickets and at the tubing were really helpful.

The slopes were poorly maintained—either too icy or too slushy. The green slope at Snow Summit was steeper than a typical green run, causing many skiers to either fall frequently or take excessive breaks. As a result, many people were sitting in the middle of the slope, creating a safety hazard for others. Additionally, the lockers were far from the rental area, requiring us to carry all our gear over a long distance. We purchased a two-day lift pass, but on the second day, we discovered at the lift that one of our pass was not working. This forced us to go back, wait in line, and get a new card, which was frustrating and took up valuable time. For families with young children, this resort is not ideal. There are no ski schools for kids under five unless you book a private session for $800+, which isn’t practical—especially if you’re unsure how long your child will even last in the lesson. Plus, there’s no childcare available. Giving it 3 stars because the resort is conveniently located near LAX (about 3 hr drive), making it easily accessible. The bunny slope was a good spot for practice; however, due to the poor quality of the green slopes, many beginners crowded this area, making it overly congested.

Pretty bad experience on a busy day. Would definitely suggest staying away during the holiday or long weekend. We got to the resort around 7:30 expecting to park in the brownie parking lot which isn’t that bad. Me and about 50 other people were told to go left and park so we all parked in the brownie parking lot. 30 minutes later employees kicked us out of the parking lot saying it was closed. That cost most of us an extra hour of driving and waiting in shuttle lines because of their mistake. Most of us driving hours to the resort just to have time taken away from us and wasted. Very disappointed in the way the run things. Then Later on in the day they open up the brownie parking lot. Not fair of those people that showed up early and had to park in the lots far from the resort. Definitely makes me not want to come to this resort anymore being a 10 year season pass holder.

Snow summit is definitely a great progressive mountain. If you’re looking to build up your skills and confidence on terrain parks and just improve your riding skills, this is the place to do it. It’s a relatively small resort though so don’t expect much trails compared to some other larger resorts.

First time on the mountain. It was a fun Monday visit. I'll return to see more of the mountain once more snow hits it. For a Monday, the crowds were busy on the way down on the slopes. It's a two hour drive for me, so it's worth the drive since Mammoth is 6-hours and Tahoe is 10-hours. We can go up early and be back before dark.
