⚠️️ WARNING ⚠️️ Absolutely amazing 360 degrees of landscapes. We attempted to do the full Eagle Falls Trail on 28th Jan, starting from Eagle Falls Traihead & found it incredibly hard after passing the eagle lake folk, then we abandoned the loop and came back. Due to the snowy conditions, there is a risk of snow avalanches on the mountains. Even though we had crampons, that wasn't enough. We feel that proper mountaineering gear was required due to the slippery snowy conditions on mountain edges. We are hoping to do Maggie's peak summit from the Inspiration point. Thank you.

Fairly busy trail, with a number of picturesque spots along the way. The lake is approximately two miles from the parking lot with mild elevation gain. Thankfully dog friendly with variation between sun and shade.

Got there at around 5pm on a Sunday in August after doing Tallac and Maggie's Peak earlier in the day. It is an okay hike, definitely not as challenging or rewarding as the others. Roughly 2 miles out and back, and it's all staircases cut into stones, so quite a tiring trail. The lake is nice and calm, although because it's an easy hike, there were lots of people there. Paid 5$ for parking at the trailhead.

This was a fairly easy trail as a beginner hiker- it was 1.5mil hike to the Lake from the start of the parking lot- and it took us 1hr but it’s totally worth it! The views are gorgeous and you can swim at the lake if you don’t mind the cold. There are lots of steps and the trail is clearly maintained. We started at 8am and there was plenty of parking - if you want to swim I would plan on starting a little later so the sun will be hitting the lake while you swim. If you did not want to go all the way to the lake there is a loop which is not long and you still can see the Lake Tahoe and some gorgeous views

Me and my wife enjoyed this trail especially during late October as the weather was cooling even though there wasn’t much shade. The trail is relatively easy with flat grounds and just some mild elevation, took us about 1 hour plus to complete. We also spotted a squirrel pausing at some rock for us to take photo. Parking seems limited but is relatively empty, take note it’s paid parking and there’s washroom there with no tap to wash hands after which.
