Absolutely amazing. A visit on a sunny day, when a big snow was one week ago. The snow is melting but still keeps the winter scenic view. If summer here is 7/10, then winter is 10/10. You must have both sunshine and snow! The spot today was closed officially, but many people including me park along the road and ignore “no parking”. I guess it is just fine…

This is a beautiful place for a hike, with a short and moderate trail. You'll encounter Vista Point and Inspiration Point, where the views of Emerald Bay are stunning, surrounded by mountains. There's also a small bridge that offers a glimpse of Upper Eagle Falls nearby, while Lower Eagle Falls is located across the road from the trailhead. Parking can be tricky, so it's best to arrive early in the morning. We were fortunate to find a spot close to the trail. You can easily spend around three hours enjoying the area.

The view from this site is magnificent ! But the site itself is in bad condition! Toilets are dirty, binoculars do not work. The parking lot was closed even though many people wanted to visit the site. All the steps are covered with ice, which is dangerous for walking

Really a breathtaking experience. While I didn’t get a chance to go in the water, looking out over the lake on a clear day really made me appreciate the protected area. It does get crowded with limited parking and if you park in the lot, there is a fee

Beautiful area and Vista point! You do get a nice view of Lake Tahoe but some angles area blocked by tress so it's not a completely "open" view!
